Release:  03/16/2013

LINCOLN, NEB. (March 16) -- Game three of the weekend series versus the No. 21 Nebraska Huskers was cancelled due to the frigid temperatures in Lincoln, Neb.

According to Nebraska and Big Ten policy, the game cannot be played until the "Real Feel" temperature is less than 28 degrees. This did not happen in the time allotted for the game to begin.

NM State heads into the final regular-season game against in-state rival New Mexico on Tuesday, March 19, before heading into Western Athletic Conference play. To open league play, NM State hosts Louisiana Tech for a three-game series March 22-23.
