2 Trashaun Nixon
2012 (Junior): Nixon started all 12 games at linebacker for the Aggies for the 2012 season and was selected to the All-WAC second team for his efforts.  He recorded 96 tackles, 9.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, one interception and four pass break-ups on the season.  He recorded eight tackles per game, which ranked sixth in the WAC.  Nixon also ranked fifth with 9.5 tackles for a loss on the season.  Nixon set a career high in tackles with 15 in the first game of the season against Sacramento State (Aug. 30).  Nixon also set a career high in tackles for a loss with two against Sacramento State, then later he recorded two again against Idaho (Oct. 6).  Nixon recorded a sack in two separate games with the first being against New Mexico (Sept. 22) and then against Utah State (Oct. 20).  He also recorded a forced fumble and fumble recovery against Idaho.
Ventura College: Nixon played two seasons at Ventura College at outside linebacker. In 2011, Nixon tallied 21 tackles, five tackles for a loss, two sacks, two pass break-ups, a fumble recovery and a blocked kick. As a freshman in 2010, Nixon recorded 54 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and five pass break-ups.

High School: Nixon was a three-year starter for Hueneme High School. As a senior, Nixon helped his team to a second-place finish in league play. He was named an all-league, an all-county and all-CIF selection and played in the East vs. West All-Star game. Nixon tallied 93 tackles, an interception, three forced fumbles and fumble recovery during his career.
Personal: Nixon is the son of Clinton and Wanda Nixon. He plans to major in individualized studies.
