The foundation portion of Majority of One Brands provided professional and personal development, career counseling, sport transition planning and sports education programming.

The dream of competing as a collegiate and "Olympic Hopeful" was short circuited when Mr. Hall was ineligible to compete due to a very low test score on his college entrance exam. After sitting out the mandatory sanction year by NCAA rules, Mr. Hall was admitted to Iowa State University where he competed as a student-athlete with great success as he was a four year letter winner, four time Big Eight Champion and All-American.

Life after college sports was complex but Mr. Hall persevered and won the biggest races of his life by earning his Bachelor Degree in Speech Communication and then his Masters Degree in Higher Education from Iowa State University respectfully.  In 1994 Mr. Hall was recruited by The Ohio State University as an Athletic Academic Counselor to monitor the academic progress for student-athletes. For nearly 10 years, Mr. Hall supervised the academic progress for revenue and olympic men's and women's sports program at Ohio State.

His efforts to teach student-athletes about academic ownership progressively increased graduation and retention rates, especially for minority student-athletes as he instituted his innovative program entitled Majority of One from his Iowa State days. Hall was acknowledged for his commitment to the holistic educational and business development concept as he was selected as a Forty under 40 Business Honoree by Business First Magazine in 1999.
