Brenda Blackburn enters her first year at New Mexico State University as Director of Academic Support Programs and Services Center. Brenda oversees the academic support programs for Aggie Student-Athletes. Brenda recently joins NMSU after spending three years at Indiana University as Assistant Director of Academic Services.
In 2007, Brenda completed her Masters degree at Oklahoma State University in Educational Leadership. While at OSU, Brenda worked in many aspects of the athletic department, including tutoring/facilitating student athletes, intern in the Athletic Marketing department, and intern for the Senior Women's Administrator.
As former Big Ten student athlete, Brenda attended the University of Illinois where she played basketball and obtained a degree in Kinesiology in 2004.
