Gillenwater Named First Team All-WAC
Junior forward Troy Gillenwater garnered first team All-WAC honors in 2010-11. This is Gillenwater’s first career All-WAC selection. Also, the fifth consecutive season the Aggies have had a first team all-conference honoree. Gillenwater leads the Aggies with 19.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. In conference games, he averaged 20.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He has 12 games over 20 points this year and 15 in his career.
Aggie Double-Doubles in 2010-11
The Aggies have had eight double-doubles this season. Junior forward Troy Gillenwater leads the team with four. Senior guard Gordo Castillo, freshman center Tshilidzi Nephawe, junior center Hamidu Rahman and sophomore forward Tyrone Watson have all recorded a double-double in 2010-11.
National Campaign
In the NCAA rankings, junior forward Troy Gillenwater is No. 36 in points per game (19.2). Junior guard Hernst Laroche is No. 40 in steals (2.0 per game) and No. 59 in assists (4.8 per game). As a team, the Aggies rank No. 50 in 3-point field goal defense (31.9) and No. 85 in scoring offense (72.1) as of March 6.

Gillenwater Shoots and Scores
Junior forward Troy Gillenwater is leading the team in scoring and rebounding with 19.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. In WAC games, he increased that production to 20.1 points. He has 12 games over 20 points this year and 15 in his career. Gillenwater set a career high with 34 points in the overtime win against Boise State, 96-87, Jan. 27. He has now surpassed the 30-point plateau four times this year and has recorded four double-doubles in 2010-11.

McKines to Redshirt 2010-11 Season
Senior forward Wendell McKines has decided to redshirt the 2010-11 season. He has been sidelined this year due to a broken foot he sustained in mid-October. An All-WAC honorable mention selection in 2009-10, McKines averaged 10.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game, a team-best mark. He now ranks No.6 on the all-time rebounding list at NM State with 761 boards. He ranked first in the WAC in conference games with 9.8 rebounds per game. McKines also posted nine double-doubles in 2009-10 and has 27 in his career.
