Las Cruces, N.M. – Tight End Nick Cleaver has been named to the 2007 ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic All-District XI football team announced Thursday morning by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). This is the second straight year Cleaver has been named to the All-District XI team. Cleaver is currently majoring in Marketing & General Business and has a 4.00 GPA.

This season Cleaver has 23 receptions for 293 yards, averaging 12.7 yards per catch and 36.6 yards receiving per game. Cleaver is also the Aggies all-time leading receiver for a tight end with 89 receptions for 1,203 yards and six touchdowns to date.

Cleaver will now move on to the Academic All-American ballot which will be release later this month.
