"It is such a great honor to be on the board of directors for the CSCCa,” Decker said. “I'm humbled by the opportunity. The goal of this organization from its inception has been to make the profession of strength and conditioning better and it has. I'm looking forward to being a part of the process that continues to move our profession forward."
Decker received the prestigious title of Master Strength and Conditioning Coach at the May 2004 MSCC Induction Ceremony. He has been serving on the organization’s Practical Examination Committee, which is responsible for developing the practical portion of the certification examination, which is part of the organization’s certification program—Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
Decker is a 24-year veteran in the field who has had a tremendous impact on the profession, as well as on an innumerable number of student-athletes who have had the privilege of training under his supervision.
“We are grateful to have Don serving on the CSCCa Board of Directors,” said CSCCa Executive Director, Dr. Chuck Stiggins. “He has a wealth of experience and knowledge that is of immense value to this organization and to the Board of Directors. He is a tremendous asset, and we are fortunate to have Don as a member of our association. We appreciate his willingness to serve in this capacity. He is truly a model of an outstanding strength and conditioning professional.”
