LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- The National Collegiate Equestrian Association has selected its 2013-14 All-America class, as three NM State riders were honored. The NCEA also announced its Second-Team All-America class and the All-America Honorable Mention squad.

Junior Brynn Larson and senior Tara Wilson were selected first and second team Reining respectively, while junior Lauren DeVoe earned second team Horsemanship honors.

“Having three student-athletes named to the NCEA All American list is a huge milestone for NM State Equestrian,” head coach Robin Morris-Walters said. “These ladies excelled in their respective event each time they set foot in the arena.  They have been a consistent and driving force in the team’s success this season.  I am proud to see each one achieve such an honor.”

Larson was 10-2 on the season in Reining with a perfect 8-0 record on the road. She earned one Most Outstanding Player award on the year. Larson was also 2-1 in Horsemanship on the season. Wilson collected a team-high five MOP honors during the season, earning an 11-3 overall record. DeVoe was 10-4 on the year, with a 4-1 record at home and two MOP awards.

The Aggies will be back in action, April 17-19, in Waco, Texas, for the 2014 NCEA National Championships.
