NM State Menís Golf Sixth at Arizona Intercollegiate

Tucson, Ariz. – The New Mexico State men’s golf team is sixth overall after two rounds of the Arizona Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,282-yard Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. The Aggies carded a two-round team score of 18-over par, 586.

Two Aggie golfers are in the top-10 after two rounds of play. Junior Pat Beyhan is even par, 142 (68-74) and is fifth overall. Beyhan carded four birdies on the day and an eagle in the first round. Sophomore Kenneth Fadke II is currently tied for sixth at 1-over par, 143 (72-71). He fired a team-high eight birdies in the first two rounds.

Freshman Travis Benson shot two rounds of 4-over par, 75, for a two-round score of 8-over par, 150 (75-75). He is tied for 32nd and recorded six birdies on the day. Junior Brett Walker is tied for 42nd after two rounds of play. He is 9-over par, 151 (76-75), carding four birdies in the first two rounds.

Senior Zach Adams had six birdies on the day and is 19-over par, 161 (77-84) after two rounds, tying him for 75th overall.

No. 25 Southern California leads the tournament at 4-under par, followed by No. 4 California (-2), No. 19 New Mexico (+12) and Arizona (+13). USC’s Anthony Paolucci leads the tournament at 7-under par.
