NM State vs. Idaho Postgame Quotes

Postgame Interview with Idaho head coach Paul Petrino

Coach there were missed opportunities what do you think went wrong?

“We dropped two wide-open touchdowns and had another touchdown that looked like he caught but went to the ground, but then the guy took it from him and we can’t let him take it. That’s three touchdowns right there. The defense came out with their best defense all season.”

There were field goals but we would you like to see more touchdowns?

“Two of the guys just dropped two touchdowns, we can’t do anything about that. Defense played well, but offense did not.”

General thoughts on the season?

“We’ve improved all year long, we’re a better team now than we were in the beginning of the season, but obviously today was very disappointing because we should have won this game.”
