NM State Hosts WNMU and Tarleton State

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (March 7) - The New Mexico State women's tennis team continues at home in hopes of breaking its six game losing streak as the team hosts Western New Mexico on Friday, March 8, and Tarleton State on Sunday, March 10.

The Aggies, (1-7) host in-state foe WNMU on Friday after falling in their first two home matches of the season. The Mustangs are 5-7 on the season and currently on a three-match losing streak.

The Aggies then welcome Division II power, Tarleton State, on Sunday, March 10. No. 32 Tarleton comes into the weekend with a 6-5 overall record and a three-match winning streak.

The Aggies were led last week by Annemieke Witte, after she went 2-0 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles over the weekend against Colorado State and Northern Arizona.

NM State kicks off the weekend with Western New Mexico at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 8, before hosting Tarleton State at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 10.
