LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Jan. 15)- The New Mexico State swimming and diving team travels to Moscow, Idaho for a dual meet with WAC foes Idaho, Friday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m.
"Traveling up to Idaho is a challenge, and they are a well-coached and much improved team," head coach Rick Pratt said. "I am very confident in our abilities, and we've displayed great toughness over the past month and a half.
"They have some great swimmers, and for us to win up there, we are going to have to fight for every point. I think the training we've done has given us some confidence, hopefully, we'll be able to use that to our advantage this weekend."
Last season, the Aggies defeated the Vandals, 171-125, Jan. 21, 2012 in Las Cruces on senior day. This is the last road meet of the season for NM State before heading to the WAC Championships in San Antonio, Texas, Feb. 27-March 2. The Aggies conclude the regular season, Feb. 2, when they host in-state rival New Mexico in Las Cruces.
