Aggie Menís Tennis Wraps up Play at ITA All-American

Tulsa, Okla. – New Mexico State men’s tennis player Daniel Fernandez competed in the third round of the ITA Men's All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla., Sunday afternoon.

Fernandez faced the No. 16 seed JT Sundling of TCU, taking him to a tough three set match. Fernandez would eventually fall to Sundling, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

In the pre-qualifying bonus matches, Luis Ramirez took on Oliver Anderson of Sacramento State, defeating him 6-2, 6-1, while Marc Westgate beat Michael Rinaldi of Florida State, 4-6, 7-6, 7-5.

The Aggies will be back in action at the Balloon Festival Invitation in Albuquerque, N.M., Oct. 5-7.
