Equestrian Struggles at TCU

SPRINGTOWN, Texas - New Mexico State Equestrian wrapped up a long weekend Sunday afternoon, falling 12-6 to TCU at Turning Point Ranch. The Hunter team fell 6-2, while the Western team came up just short at 6-4.

Laura Bostwick was the lone winner for the Aggies in Equitation on the Flat, as Shannon Dooley took the only point for NM State in Equitation over Fences.

The Western team took the Horsemanship competition, 3-2. Megan Gould earned MOP (Most Outstanding Player), while Jessica Woolsey and Rianna Storey also won their head-to-head match ups.

In Reining, Brynn Larson was the lone Aggie to win her head-to-head competition. NM State lost the Reining 4-1.

The Aggies will be back in action on Oct. 12-13 in Las Cruces, as they host Kansas State and West Texas A&M.
