ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-New Mexico State men’s basketball head coach Marvin Menzies and volleyball head coach Mike Jordan hosted kids clinics for Laguna elementary students, Saturday, May 15 in Albuquerque, N.M., and Route 66 Casino sponsored the event.

“We had a great time,” Jordan said. “The kids were fantastic, and we were proud to be a part of the event.”

Each coach brought staff personnel and players along to teach skills to the almost 100 kids that participated in the clinics.

“I was impressed with the turnout of the local kids,” Menzies said. “They had a lot of desire to learn and have fun, which makes for a good clinic. We look forward to returning to the area in the near future for additional events.”
