NM State Equestrian Set to Face Top Ranked Georgia and Auburn

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The No. 5 ranked New Mexico State Equestrian team travels to Bishop, Ga., this weekend to face No. 2 Georgia on Friday, March 7 and No. 4 Auburn on Saturday, March 8 at the UGA Equestrian Complex.

Currently, the Aggies are 8-3 overall as a team this season, with the Horsemanship team holding a perfect 11-0 record on the year. NM State is 8-1 in their last nine competitions. The Aggies have faced one other top-5 team this season (South Carolina).

Juliana Ball, Marissa Bartmann, Chelsea Brady, Courtney Cruse, Lauren DeVoe, Shannon Dooley, Clarissa Edgerton, Julie Frey, Brynn Larson, Emily McConnell, Haley Newkirk, Beth Solomon, Rianna Storey, Jaimie Story, Stefanie Story, Hannah Swarthout, Amber Tassel, Tara Wilson and Jessica Woolsey will represent the Aggies this weekend.

The last time the Aggies faced either Auburn or Georgia was back in 2012. NM State defeated Auburn in Las Cruces that year, while falling to Georgia on the road.
