Kevin Aronis is a 21-year old senior shooting guard for the NM State men’s basketball team. Aronis comes from Sebastopol, California and is majoring in Individual Studies. Aronis came to NMSU because of the great winning program, which is also one of his favorite moments as an Aggie. Before each game, he likes to do an early pre-game shoot around before anyone gets on the court. Aronis joined the NM State Aggies in 2011 after spending two years at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, Calif. Last year, he led the team in 3-pointers and scored in double-figures three times.

Aronis is averaging 14 minutes of playing time this season and is posting 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.  He and the rest of the Aggies take on I-10 rival UTEP, Friday, Nov. 15 at 7p.m. (MT) in the Pan American Center.  For tickets call the Pan American Center ticket office at 575-646-1420 or go online to www.NMStateSports.com.
