Women’s Tennis Concludes Day One of Aggie Invitational

LAS CURCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women’s tennis team concluded day one of the 2013 Aggie Invitational after rain washed out all play during the morning hours on Friday, Sept. 13.

The matches finally began in the late afternoon with doubles play. NM State’s duo, Ashvarya Shrivastava and Susana Alcaraz, advanced to the semifinals round of their flight after beating the pair from Tarleton State.

The Aggie pair is set to take on a UTEP duo as competition begins on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 9 a.m. Singles matches will follow the conclusion of doubles play.
