Bateman Signs as Free Agent with Broncos

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Former NM State wide receiver Kemonte Bateman signed a free agent contact late Saturday evening to continue his football careers. Bateman signed with the Denver Broncos.

Bateman (Los Angeles, Calif.) caught 50 receptions in 2012 for 707 yards and five touchdowns. He averaged 14.1 yards per catch. During his career, Bateman recorded 1,121 receiving yards on 78 catches, averaging 14.4 yards per catch, while grabbing nine touchdowns over his two year career with NM State.

"I'm very humbled and blessed to be able to continue my football career," Bateman said. "This is a great opportunity and I look forward to being a member of the Broncos."
