LAS CRUCES, N.M. (March 8)-The New Mexico State soccer team has five spring soccer matches including one home contest and two games in Taos, N.M.

"We are excited about the quality of opponents on our spring schedule," head coach Blair Quinn said. "It'll give us a chance to measure our improvement over the course of the spring. For us, spring games aren't about winning, though we always play to win, they're for individual development, and these games will provide a good measure of that for us.  Also, we played all of our spring games at home last year, so we needed to travel this year and return the favor."

The Aggies are hosting Cochise Community College, April 14 at 1 p.m. in their lone home match. NM State opens the spring slate at Arizona, April 6 at 1 p.m. in Tucson, Ariz., and then travels to Tempe, Ariz., to face Arizona State, April 7 at 1 p.m.

NM State closes out the spring season with two matches against Air Force, April 20 in Taos, N.M. at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
