LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Jan. 18)-The New Mexico State swimming and diving team hosts Idaho, Saturday, Jan. 21 at 11:30 a.m. in its home finale at the NM State Natatorium. This meet is also senior day for the Aggies.

"With only five weeks until conference, we need to take advantage of every chance we have to race," head coach Rick Pratt said. "This weekend's meet is a good opportunity for that and should be filled with emotions because it is the last chance for our seniors to race at home."

The Aggies are celebrating their six seniors; Rachelle Bassen, Brittney Moore, Gina Palombit, Ana Smith, Carly Smith and Maria Spies.

"They have sacrificed a lot to our program, and we are hoping to have a good showing in honor of that," Pratt said. "Idaho has some strong swimmers and will match up with us in several events. It should be a fun day, and we are hoping for a good turnout."

Admission to the meet is free.
