Eight Players Named to Phil Steele All-WAC Team

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - One of the nation's most informative football magazines, Phil Steele's College Football has announced its post season All-WAC teams and All-American teams. Eight NM State football players were named to the All-WAC team and one was named to the All-American team.

Taveon Rogers was named a second team wide receiver and first team kick returner on the All-WAC team, while being named a second team All-American kick returner. This is Roger's fifth All-America honor this post season.

Defensive back Jonte Green and safety Donyae Coleman earned first team All-WAC picks, while running back Kenny Turner and defensive end David Niumatalolo were selected to the second team. Center Mike Grady, tackle Davonte Wallace and defensive tackle David Mahoney all made third team All-WAC.
