CLEARWATER, Fla. - The New Mexico State softball team was scheduled to start the 2010 USF Under Armour Showcase, Friday, March 12 at 8:30 a.m., however, due to heavy rain, all games for day one of play are cancelled.
With a new tournament schedule in place, the Aggies now take on Florida Gulf Coast at 7:30 a.m. (MT) on field nine of the Eddie C. Moore Complex, before facing Long Island on the same field at 9:45 a.m. (MT).
The Aggies now take on Saint Joseph's, Sunday, March 14 at 7:00 a.m. (MT) with a game against Drake following at 9:15 a.m. (MT).
Tomorrow will feature the first meeting between Florida Gulf Coast and NM State, while it is also the first meeting with Long Island for the Aggies. NM State has never played Saint Joseph's but is 3-3 against Drake with the last meeting coming in 2004.
