LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- The NM State equestrian team will travel to College Station, Texas this week for their final regular season road trip as the Aggies take on Texas A&M, Saturday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. (MT) The event will be held at the Brazos County Expo Complex.
The Aggies are coming off a win over Fresno State two weeks ago and will look to stay on the winning track against the No. 3 ranked Texas A&M Aggies. NM State is currently 5-4 on the season, while Texas A&M sits at 9-2 on the year.
The last time NM State faced Texas A&M was back in 2008, as the Texas A&M Aggies defeated the NM State Aggies 15-5. The Western team was defeated 6-4, while the Hunter Seat team fell 9-1. The Aggies did have three MVP winners on the day. NM State also saw Texas A&M in the second round of last year's Varsity National Equestrian Championships, as the Western team fell 7-0 in the head-to-head team competition.
